Navigation Tips

Click Index for GIAC Site to view alphabetically indexed items conveniently providing links to much of the wealth of information available on this Web site.  The items preceded by ■ are also available in menus as described in the navigation tips paragraphs that follow this one. Items preceded by # are selected from among those links found in the main menu pages. Items in green text are not links but alphabetized descriptive headings for some links or link groups.

You can navigate between all the major pages throughout the GIAC Web site by exclusively using the menus on the left or right of George's Daily Page, the "home" site of this Web, and clicking the desired item in blue text. For your convenience, the locations of the various link menus are listed immediately below:

 The menu items in the Growth Impact Action Committee portion are dated for reader convenience when they are updated with the most recently changed nearest the top. Other link names are generally not dated. Many of their targets, such as those under Nation/World, are updated daily.

In addition to getting access to all links from any page, there is a somewhat detailed description of what is available by clicking Web Site Link Menu Collection/Explanation here or in the left menu. Many of the links in the descriptive menus associated with the Growth Impact Action Committee are dated but they are not repositioned by date as the links in the Growth Impact Action Committee are. Sub items in blue text can be used to link directly to the indicated sub item. Sub items in black text are contained in the associated main page but, in some cases, might only be reached by first linking to that main page.

Site Description

George's Daily Page presents selected information that is inadequately covered by the main stream media, usually on a daily basis. In the belief that the main stream media provides more than enough leftist coverage while Fox News provides balanced coverage, George's Page is not intended to present a liberal-conservative balance. 

George's Musings will present thoughts on various subjects. At this writing it represents the author's beliefs about morality and some of its aspects.

The portion of this Web site associated with the Growth Impact Action Committee concerns itself with issues important to Horry County homeowners at the Horry County and the South Carolina levels. The items are dated as to when the pages are changed.

The Nation/World Daily portion provides links to Fox and other news Web sites, analyses and commentaries including a summary of the Fair and Flat tax proposals. Except for the summary, a link to the U.S. constitution and contact information, the information on these links is updated daily.

The South Carolina and Horry County portion provides links to associated offsite material.

The Features portion  includes a link to a TV schedule tailored to your zip code that gives more information on the night time schedule than The Sun News schedule currently does, a link to movie reviews of current movies and a link to reviews of older movies (handy for more information on movies in TV guides), a horoscope link, a link to Dear Abby and comics links.  Unfortunately the comics may load too slowly for your liking if you do not have a high-speed Internet connection. The information reached by these links is usually updated daily. A menu for these links is provided below the Horry County and S.C. menu on the left, and on George's Daily Page, a copy is also provided on the right below the National Daily menu.

The Reference portion provides links to references including an online dictionary, encyclopedia, legal source, etc. down to reference material on science, engineering and technology.

The Classic Links page, linked to from the General section of the left menu, links to items that I believe deserve separate inclusion for reasons such as repudiating long-standing misrepresentations.
